"Taking French Leave" is the main quest that comes after "Via Argentum," and it's when you finally get the help you need to initiate your rescue mission to get Hans out of his captivity at Maleshov. Naturally, rescuing Hans isn't an easy task with guards crawling around Maleshov and watching for intruders.
