After the release of the original FF7, Cloud quickly became one of the company’s biggest stars and helped promote two other PlayStation titles, Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears. By passing into the lifestream, Cloud was transported into the Tactics' world of Ivalice, where he was an optional party member. Later, once he is found and recused by Tifa in the original FF7, Cloud also seemingly rants about random subjects, including events on Xenogears’ earth.
