Franklin couple dead in apparent *******-suicide, per Medical Examiner’s report

The gun-related deaths of two Franklin residents on Feb. 25 have been ruled a *******-suicide, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Ann E. Harrison, 66, was found on her kitchen floor while her husband, Ricky L. Harrison, 65, was found in the basement, according to documents received Friday from the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The preliminary cause of Ann’s death is listed as ********* in the Medical Examiner’s report, while Ricky’s is listed as suicide.

Franklin police and fire responded to the home in the 11100 block of West Drake Lane around 5:20 p.m. Feb. 25 after a report came in of a person on the floor inside the residence, authorities said.

Officers needed to force their way into the home where they found the couple, police said.

They were both pronounced dead on the scene by the fire department due to “gun inflicted injuries,” according to a news release from the Franklin Police Department.
