Lotto: Powerball’s $30m jackpot claimed by single division one winner

One Aussie’s life is about to change following Thursday night’s Powerball draw which was claimed by the singular division one player.

The mammoth $30 million win came from a player outside of WA.

A total of 26 division two winners each claimed hauls of $23,197.80, but sadly for local players, none of those came from tickets purchased in our State.

Seventy players across the country will be taking home pay days of $10,712.20 as division three winners, with six of those WA-based.

The winning numbers for draw #1502 are 26, 22, 7, 35, 1, 11 and 25 — with 3 as the Powerball.

Earlier this month, a pair of twin WA brothers set themselves up for an enjoyable retirement by winning Set for Life after one brother purchased a ticket from an Albany newsagency.
