Amber alert issued for missing Triangle area child who may be ‘in imminent danger’

An AMBER Alert has been issued by the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office for 15-year-old Azalea Strifler.

She is 5’ 4”, weighs around 110 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

made Tuesday night, the girl’s mother said she had last been seen at 6:15 a.m. that day.

“We believe she was picked up from near our house in Spring Lake,” she wrote. “She is believed to be in imminent danger.”

Law enforcement has not commented on the circumstances surrounding Strifler’s disappearance. Harnett County is south of Wake County, between Raleigh and Fayetteville.
