Can You Recharge Fusion Cores in Fallout 4? – Answered

Perhaps one of the most viable builds in Fallout 4 revolves around donning an ever-powerful suit of Power Armor, wielding a Gatling Laser, and stomping through everything in your path. It’s a whole lot of fun in The Commonwealth. But feeding the ever-consuming energy requirements of both platforms proves challenging for new players. So, can you recharge fusion cores in Fallout 4?

Unfortunately, you cannot recharge fusion cores in Fallout 4. Fallout 76 added a unique buildable item that allows paying players to recharge their cores, but the single-player predecessor does not offer the same opportunities. Thankfully, finding new cores in Fallout 4 isn’t tough.

If you’re running through a fusion core to the point where it’s nearly diminished entirely, I recommend selling the core to a merchant for a few caps. You can then turn around and source another by looting points of interest or buying another.
