Brisbane fans slam ‘ridiculous’ two-hour delay at Drake concert

********* rapper Drake’s Monday show started off on a frustrating note for some after a lengthy delay forced thousands of people to wait in a gigantic ****** outside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for hours.

Posts on social media show swarms of people still stuck in massive lines just after 7pm.

“Drake concert brissy situation! Gates were meant to open 5:30pm its now 7:16pm lollllll” one person wrote on a video shared to TikTok.

Others claimed to have been still stuck outside the gates at 9pm.

“Absolutely ridiculous, how can an artist be 2 HOURS late to his own show. It’s just disrespectful, he literally has one job …” another person wrote on social media.

Drake’s Monday night show in Brisbane kicked off after a massive delay that left some fans waiting several hours to see the ********* rapper.

With a 9:50pm kick off, the rapper appeared on stage almost two hours later than scheduled.

The reason for the delay has not been confirmed, though it is understood that Drake, his support acts and entourage arrived to the venue late, with the star reportedly refusing to allow concertgoers to enter the venue while he was soundchecking.

Brisbane Entertainment Centre has been contacted for comment.

It comes as thousands of concertgoers in Sydney and Melbourne used signs to catch the philanthropic rapper’s attention over the last few weeks.

In Sydney last week, he splashed $30,000 on a fan who wrote on her sign she was 20 weeks pregnant.

“Get your a** out of the pit. Get outta there! Get that baby out of the pit ASAP,” the rapper told her.

“Get her some VIP tickets immediately and like, $30,000.”

In Melbourne earlier this month, he gave $25,000 to a woman in the crowd who was holding a sign that read “Adonis for President”, referencing Drake’s seven-year-old son.

“You’re showing a lot of love to my son, so on behalf of me and Adonis, we’re going to give you 25 grand,” he told her from the stage.

After completing the Brisbane leg of his run, Drake is due to return to Sydney on March 7 for the final *********** show at Qudos Bank Arena.
