Mortal Kombat 1 reveals T-1000 gameplay ahead of March DLC release

NetherRealm has published the first gameplay for Mortal Kombat 1 DLC guest fighter the T-1000.

The T-1000 teaser trailer, which is viewable below, includes a look at one of the character’s fatalities, which is inspired by one of the chase scenes in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

It also confirms that Madam Bo will join the game as a DLC Kameo fighter.

Both characters will be available starting on March 18 for owners of Mortal Kombat 1’s Khaos Reigns expansion.

Released last September and priced at $49.99 / £39.99, Khaos Reigns includes new Story mode chapters and six additional playable characters as part of Kombat Pack 2.

Cyrax, Sektor and Noob Saibot were made available at launch, followed by guest fighters Ghostface (Scream) and Conan the Barbarian.

Mortal Kombat 1’s first Kombat Pack added Omni-Man from Image Comics, Quan Chi, Peacemaker from The Suicide Squad, Ermac, Homelander from The Boys, and Takeda Takahashi as playable fighters.

It was claimed in November that a third Kombat pack of DLC characters and a second story expansion were planned for the game, but that they were canceled following a poor reception to Khaos Reigns.

VGC’s 5-star Mortal Kombat 1 review called the game an “outstanding” fighter when it was released back in September 2023.
