Despite not being out yet, Atmos Games’ Twisted Tower has swiped the attention of BioShock maker Ken Levine following its demo launching during Steam Next Fest.

Twisted Tower follows Tiny as he enters the self-titled Twisted Tower to “win treasures beyond measure” after his girl left him for a more well-off man in this 1950s-styled first-person horror shooter. The game wears its inspirations on its sleeve, even pitching the game as a “1950’s resort reminiscent of BioShock and Disney World.”

In our Twisted Tower preview, we said: “I do think Twisted Tower can make for an amazing remedy for those looking to get that distinctive BioShock brand of unease. It meshes together a confusing yet engaging plot that will no doubt be fleshed out in the five different levels that will come at launch, as well as simple gameplay that makes it an easy game to pick up and play.”
