The pedestrian’s condition has not been confirmed. Police are investigating the incident on the A96 between Reiket Lane and St Andrews Drive, which took place at about 03:30 on Saturday. The road was closed for about 10 hours, with diversions in place until about 14:00. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the “circumstances of the incident” were being investigated by Police Scotland. She added: “Our thoughts are with all of those affected”.
