The official recall notice was published on February 14 and solely includes Trader Joe’s Organic Açaí Bowl with Berries, Banana, Granola and Dried Coconut. This is a fairly popular TJ’s offering that just made its return to shelves last December. The product contains a base of açaí purée mixed with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. That purée is then topped with a granola and coconut mixture that has chia, flax seeds and quinoa flakes mixed in.

While the Trader Joe’s announcement was short and to the point, it did not include any further information regarding the product in question. Lot numbers, UPC codes and sell-by/best-by dates have yet to be provided.
