The Backline Boss Evolution is now available in EA FC 25, allowing you to upgrade one of your CBs with new playstyles and roles.





This evolution doesn't boost your card's stats, but it's a free option that has some great boosts. For starters, your CB will be able to get one of the most meta playstyle+ as a second option, along with fresh roles. Let's take a look at the requirements, followed by the best options to consider.

EA FC 25 Grassroot Growth Evolution upgrades

There are two levels of upgrades, and here are the required conditions.





Upgrade level 1

• Rarity In-Progress Evolution
• Role+ CB Stopper+
• PlayStyle Block (^10)

Upgrade level 2

• Rarity Grassroot Greats Evolution
• Role++ CB Defender++
• PlayStyle+ Anticipate (^2)
• PlayStyle Intercept (^10)

Upgrade level 1 requirements

• Play 2 matches in Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Squad Battles on Min. Semi-Pro using your active EVO player in game.

Upgrade level 2 requirements

• Win 3 matches in Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Squad Battles on Min. Semi-Pro using your active EVO player in game.

Best players to use in EA FC 25 Grassroot Growth Evolution

There are over 78,000 options available, but it's best to use on cards rated 88 or higher, and who already have a playstyle+ which isn't Anticipate. This will allow your chosen candidate to have two playstyle+.
