Nobody knows, maybe not even Team Cherry, so just forget about that right now because there are plenty of other great games in the genre out there, such as Voidwrought, which came out last October. You can obviously see from the game's art style that it's taken some cues from the original Hollow Knight, but it sets itself apart by leaning in the cosmic horror direction, rather than the creepy crawly bug direction. And as developer Powersnake announced today, a brand new update has arrived in the game adding in New Game Plus and Hardcore modes.
