We are looking for information for an article about the firings at the National Nuclear Security Administration and the impact they have had.

We are especially eager to hear from people who held nonadministrative jobs and were not rehired after the initial firings, especially those who had high-level security clearances. We are trying to fact-check the Energy Department’s statements that fewer than 50 N.N.S.A. employees were fired and that they mainly performed administrative or clerical tasks, so the agency’s work was not affected.
