Avowed – Seafarer’s Boots Treasure Map Location

In Avowed you can find treasure maps in each of the main regions, which lead you to unique gear, if you can find the treasure. In Shatterscarp, the third region, you can find the Seafarer’s Boots treasure map at a picnic blanket just east of Thirdborn’s entrance. With the map in hand, you can track down a unique set of boots.

The map can be found on a picnic blanket, just east of Thirdborn’s entrance. The picnic is set up at a lower elevation than Thirdborn, overlooking desert dunes.

The Seafarer’s Boots treasure can be found near the Sulfur Mines Basecamp. Just east of there is a river, primarily running north to south, but there is a small off-shoot heading east. Follow that river to its end to find a small cave with a body inside. Among the loot on the corpse are the Wavebinder Boots. Across from the boots, you can find another cave, which can be opened using fire, and the chest can be accessed after using Yatzli’s disillusion spell, but this loot is unrelated to the treasure map.

The Wavefinder Boots offer two passive bonuses. The first is +15 maximum essence, with the second being Sure Footing, which reduces movement when taking a hit. Boots cannot be upgraded in any way, so these passives cannot be changed. Once you collect the boots, the quest will be marked as complete. If you have no use for these boots, they can be sold for 750 gold.
