Fmr. OSU President Dr. Kayse Shrum set to return to campus

STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) – Weeks after the sudden resignation of former Oklahoma State University President Dr. Kayse Shrum, Tuesday brought news that she is expected to return to the OSU system.

, Shrum requested a sabbatical at the time of her resignation. In her contract, according to public records obtained, Shrum states OSU students alongside staff will see her return to the OSU Center for Health Sciences as a tenured faculty member.

Shrum stated, “I believe during my tenure I have set the university on a course to a bright future,” Shrum said in the letter. “We have experienced record enrollment, student retention rates, research funding and philanthropic support.”

Shrum is expected to begin her role at OSU Health Sciences Center in July.
