, written on Hummel ******** Homes’ website, said Christman died in his sleep from natural causes. The 21-year-old from Akron died on Feb. 11, one day before his 22nd birthday, in Nevada at an off-campus residence near the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Christman transferred to play at UNLV after being part of Kentucky’s football team for two seasons. He originally committed to play for the Buckeyes in 2021 but transferred to Kentucky in 2023. He played 12 games with the Wildcats in 2024 before moving to UNLV.

His memorial service is scheduled for Friday morning at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Akron.
