This means manually heading to a charging unit and paying a fee to recharge it every now and then. Thankfully, there’s a way to mitigate the process. • How to get there: You can follow the Aloha Bridge east and then take a turn north via River St. If you’ve unlocked the taxi stop at Waikiki St., that’s also a good shortcut.

• How to get there: From Anaconda Blvd., continue heading west until you stumble upon Downtown St. Then, move toward Nirvana Hotel, which doesn’t have a ton going on, except for the pawn shop next to it. If you haven’t cleared the map yet, it might take you a second to stumble upon it.

Once you’re in either pawn shop, talk to the merchant NPC inside and purchase the battery packs. The upgrade will hit your Street Surfer automatically, so no extra steps needed. If you have some extra change, both stores offer a few cosmetic options to customize the vehicle.
