Your Sim can still visit the hospital even if they don’t work there. However, the only way the option will come up is if they are in the final stage of pregnancy, go into labor, and choose to have the baby at the hospital. When your pregnant Sim begins labor, click on them, and you can choose where you want to have the baby and who you want to bring with you.





Your Sims will be transported directly to the only hospital in the game.

How to edit the hospital lot in The Sims 4

Once you’re at the hospital, you’ll find that, unlike other community lots, you can’t edit it in Build or Buy Mode. To edit the lot, bring up the cheat console by hitting Shift + Ctrl + C, type ‘testingcheats on’, hit enter, and then type ‘bb.enablefreebuild’. It's one of the

Now, you can switch from Live Mode to Build or Buy and edit the hospital to your heart’s content. 





However, be aware that certain items are needed for the hospital to function properly during your career. Don’t delete any of the medical equipment or front desk, or if you do delete them, make sure to replace them.





Unfortunately, you cannot set a lot type as hospital when building on other lots, so you’re stuck with the one in the game already. This hospital is the only one the game will recognize, so don’t make it into another lot type, either.
