Whitcomb was a clear winner in her first season playing for Bendigo Spirit. She polled 21 votes to finish seven votes clear of Townsville’s Courtney Woods. The two-time WNBA champion and 2024 Olympian had a brilliant season. She led the league in scoring with an average of 21 points per game, also led the league for three-pointers and was ranked third for assists after averaging five per match.
