 (KRQE) – Las Vegas residents and businesses are being urged to turn off all boilers and water heaters as soon as possible. The city says changing water pressure from the water being transferred to the Luna Reservoir could result in sediment buildup and might cause damage.

This is following Friday’s precautionary boiling advisory for the area. The city also says water heaters can be put on vacation mode to avoid turning off the pilot light.
