Those readers of a certain age (not judging) will fondly remember the days of so-called street-style sports sims. With vastly different rules and styles to those emulating the top-flight sports organisations these releases were popular for a reason. And now Dunk City Dynasty, NetEase’s own take on the genre, is set to hit soft launch in Australia and New Zealand

Dunk City Dynasty sees top stars like Kevin Durant and Stephan Curry ditch their jerseys in favour of street clothes as they take to the court for more casual matchups. Alongside today’s news, for example, NetEase unveiled a new 5v5 Full Court Run mode for players to duke it out in style with their own customisable players that can also dress up in the colours of top teams like the Golden States Warriors and Houston Rockets.

And now if you’re playing on iOS and Android in the aforementioned territories you too can enjoy fast-paced 11-point matchups on mobile, as if you were really there on the court! Best of all, rewards like free Star Players, cosmetics and more are available as daily log-in rewards for the soft launch.
