Earlier this month, several insiders and journalists suggested that Xbox will be revealing the next Gears of War game at this year’s Xbox showcase, which is scheduled to take place on June 9.

from Giant ****** Jeff Grubb, while another user with insider information, Shinobi602, suggested that ‘people aren’t ready’ for the reveal of the series’ next game.

As for what exact Xbox will show on the next game is unclear, but with some rumours suggesting that the game is still a ways off from a release, it’s likely that it could just be a CGI trailer, which is common for game reveals.

In addition to Gears of War 6, several rumors have suggested that Xbox is developing a Gears of War collection, but as of yet, no one with tangible credence has corroborated these claims.
