Gulf Breeze police say 2 found dead from *******-suicide

UPDATE (Feb. 12, 10:20 a.m.): Gulf Breeze Police Department officials have released more information regarding the death of two people.

According to a news release, police believe the incident was a *******-suicide.

Police have said they are not releasing the names of the two people until their next of kin is notified.

On Feb. 11, officers said they were called to a home on Highpoint Drive for a ******** check — that’s when they found the two people dead.

“In light of recent events, we want to take a moment to address the importance of mental health and the resources available for those who may be struggling,” read the GBPD release. “It is crucial to know that you are not alone. Please consider contacting a mental health professional, a trusted friend or family member, or a crisis hotline.”

According to a GBPD news release, officers responded to the 100 block of Highpoint Drive for a ******** check and found the two people dead inside the home.
