Here’s the latest snowfall reports for Augusta County and beyond Walking down Beverley Street Tuesday morning, a few people wondered if we would get any snow at all. By noontime, that question was answered as thick (and very pretty) snowflakes started to fall getting heavier as the day unfolded. It didn’t take long before people took to the mostly empty main street to go for a walk and enjoy a proper snow day. While there were few cars driving downtown, there were some that did and encountered near misses and backslides thinking all wheel drive might make them impervious to the slippery hills. It didn’t.
