HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford man faces several charges following a series of alleged road rage incidents on Interstate 84 and a manhunt in Southington on Tuesday.

State police said Robert Misericordia, 27, turned himself in on Wednesday on an active arrest warrant stemming from multiple alleged road rage incidents on Interstate 84 in Waterbury.

When troopers found his vehicle on a ****-de-sac in Prospect, he allegedly hit a state police cruiser in an attempt to flee.

Misericordia’s vehicle was later found abandoned at a rest area in Southington.

State police said Misericordia admitted to his involvement in this series of incidents and is cooperating with the investigation.

He faces multiple charges, including first-degree threatening, interfering with an officer/resisting, reckless driving and first-degree threatening. He’s being held on a $150,000 bond and is due in court on Thursday.
