Baldwin, Moore and Pocan must get to work, not whine about efforts to cut waste

While most American’s are supporting on-going efforts to reduce government spending and the size of government, Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Reps. Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan (all Democrats) are only complaining.

In a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article on Feb. 7, Pocan talked about a bill he is introducing that will prevent Elon Musk’s company, Space X, from getting government contracts (

That really sounds productive when Space X handles most of NASA’s launches, doesn’t it? Moore, who sits on Congress’ powerful tax writing body, could be working on tax legislation issues, but instead she does nothing. Baldwin criticized President Donald Trump’s threats of tariffs on Canada and Mexico without seemingly knowing the president has already received help at the border from Mexico and a pledge from both Mexico and Canada to help stop fentanyl shipments into the United States. This happened by Trump simply threatening tariffs.

Baldwin, Moore and Pocan could be more helpful to taxpayers in Wisconsin and citizens across America if they would stop complaining and get involved in problem solving. Isn’t that what they are supposed to do?
