Wuthering Waves’ version 2.1, Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls is set to release in a couple of days

Kuro Games recently announced that Wuthering Waves’ upcoming update, Version 2.1, Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls is set to arrive very soon. It brings with it new Resonators, weapons, regions, and events. The patch expands Ragunna City and its surrounding areas, offering new stories, challenges, and exploration opportunities.

Spearheading Wuthering Waves’ version 2.1 update are two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, who will shake things up with their combat styles. They are accompanied by new weapons, including the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor. You can also earn the four-star Ocean’s Gift by participating in a fishing-themed event set in the Riccioli Islands.

If exploration is what you’re after, v2.1 introduces Vault Underground and the Riccioli Islands, each with its own history and hidden challenges. The Vault, located beneath the Sea of Clouds, is a secure storage zone, while the Riccioli Islands retain traditions from Rinascita’s past, setting them apart from Ragunna’s structured order. 

They add to the lore of Wuthering Waves, just like the new stories, such as Brant’s Companion Story, Sail Day, Captain!, which offers insight into his past, while the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest, takes you deeper into Ragunna’s mysteries. Be prepared to encounter fresh dangers in the form of new Echoes like Rage Against the Statue and Aero Prism.

Several limited-time events will also roll out during the update. Old Man and the Whale lets you set sail in search of rare fish, while Apex Ragunna ties into the Carnevale festival, a long-awaited event that opens new areas in the Water City. These provide multiple opportunities to stock up on resources, just like our Wuthering Waves codes that offer you numerous freebies!

Finally, if combat is your focus, Tactical Simulacra III and Infinite Battle Simulation II provide structured challenges, while the Whimpering Wastes introduces a permanent high-difficulty combat zone.
