But first, what is Methods? In this story 100 detectives face down a series of criminal masterminds, attempting to solve crimes committed by them in an organised competition. The grand prize for either side? $1m, and for the detective the opportunity of a lifetime, for the criminal a chance at parole no matter how severe their crimes.

With all this on the line Methods nonetheless takes a more lighthearted approach to the topic with some stylish artwork and visual flair reminiscent of something like Danganronpa. It also won’t stretch your brain power too much, as each crime is based on simple observation and the answering of multiple choice questions as you explore the scenes of each crime.

The final problem

Methods 5: The Last Stage brings us to the close of the Methods story as the final detective enters the sixth stage, it also adds in the new DLC Methods: The Illusion Murders as a bonus. While the episodic format may be a bit ho-hum to some of you, I’ve no doubt there are plenty who’ve been following the Methods series closely and are excited to see how it concludes.
