If you've played the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you may remember the Kuttenberg region. It was discussed several times during quests, but there was no way to get to it. Fortunately, KCD2 finally allows you to go here, and we're here to show you how you can unlock Kuttenberg.

How to unlock the second map in KCD2

When you first jump into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you'll get the chance to explore the expansive Trosky region, including points of interest like

, Semine, and Zhelejov. You won't have access to the second map, Kuttenberg, as it is tied to a specific quest. In particular, you must complete the Storms main quest. It'll take you quite a while to reach this point, requiring a minimum of 11 to 12 hours of gameplay with the main story. If you want to see how long you've got until the Storms quest, here's a list of the missions you must complete first (in order):

It will initially seem like you can't return to Trosky, as you're only presented with the Kuttenberg map. However, you can travel between the two regions using a caravan. If you're in Kuttenberg, use the caravan in Suchdol or the one near Nebakov Fortress while in Trosky.
