Following the successful launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, another big RPG–Obsidian’s Avowed–launches on February 18. If you’re planning to play the game as part of your Game Pass membership but want to play early and get additional bonuses, you can upgrade to the Premium edition at a discount.

The existence of the upgrade option isn’t new, and some past Xbox games have offered a similar upgrade option as well. But with Avowed launching very soon, it’s an important thing to know if you’re considering possibly upgrading to the Premium edition.

As a caveat, the Premium upgrade option is only available for Game Pass Ultimate ($20/month) or PC Game Pass ($12/month). Subscribers to Game Pass Standard or Game Pass Core are not eligible, nor is Avowed launching on day one into catalogs included in those membership tiers.
