Fallout 76 Had 1 Million Players Live in a Single Day

For years, people have discredited Fallout 76, labelling it a ******** of a game that ‘isn’t even a real Fallout game’. However, following the vibrant success of the Fallout TV show, hundreds of thousands of new players have found their way into the world of Appalachia in Fallout 76, exploring Bethesda Game Studios’ post-apocalyptic MMORPG for all it’s worth.

It was just revealed by Bethesda that in a single day, more than one million players were live in Fallout 76 concurrently.

In 2018, Fallout 76 was released to a meagre reception, but Bethesda Game Studios pulled the game up by its bootstraps and made it something worth playing within a year or two. It’s now a fantastic game that’s well worth at least a few hours of your time – or you can be like some players and sink thousands of hours into it and make it the only thing you play for years on end.

, Bethesda revealed that one million concurrent players were live on Fallout 76, with a further four million players covering every other title in the Fallout series. In the last week or so, a Fallout frenzy has taken over the gaming world, with the series dominating charts worldwide and pulling in more players than ever before – and it’s all thanks to the stellar success of the Fallout TV show, which was released on April 10.

Fallout 76 is a live service title, which means it’s being updated regularly by Bethesda Game Studios. In June, another update will hit the platform that’ll bring an all-new area to the game’s base map for the first time in six years. There’s plenty in the pipeline, too. With Bethesda having signed on third-party studios to assist with the long-term development of Fallout 76, there are many boots on the ground helping out with perfecting this post-apocalyptic MMO.
