Corpus Christi police investigating possible *******-suicide in Bay Area

Two people died Monday in what Corpus Christi police believe was a *******-suicide in the Bay Area.

At 5:08 p.m. on Monday, Corpus Christi police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Glazebrook Street in reference to a shooting. They found two people dead inside of an apartment, according to a news release written by Corpus Christi Police Department senior officer Antonio Contreras.

Robbery/********* detectives were called out to the scene to assist, police said.

The Police Department said the shooting appeared to be a *******-suicide, though the events that led to the shooting are unclear.

The two individuals involved knew each other, police said. There was no one else involved and no threat to the public.

Police will continue investigating what led to the fatal shooting.
