So far, only one report of oral injury associated with consumption of this product has been filed, and the FSIS has received no additional reports of injury or illness as of yet. Those who do find themselves concerned about an injury should always first seek help from a medical professional. While the recall is still ongoing, the FSIS is concerned that some of the products may be in “consumers’, retailers’, and restaurants’ refrigerators or freezers.” Consumers are urged not to eat these products, and rather throw them away or return to where they were purchased for a refund.
