NSW Police says girl, 1, dies after being found unresponsive in car in Earlwood

A one-year-old girl has died after she was found unresponsive in a car in Sydney’s Inner West.

Emergency services were called after the baby being found unresponsive in a vehicle outside a childcare centre on Marana Rd, Earlwood about 5.35pm on Tuesday.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended but the little girl died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established commenced an investigation.

A male occupant of the vehicle – believed to be related to the child – is assisting with police with their inquiries.

No further information is available at this stage, according to NSW Police.
