The FDA defines a Class 1 recall as “a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.” The affected products that fall into this new classification include Cal Yee Farms dark chocolate almonds, dark chocolate apricots and dark chocolate walnuts; each of which have the potential of being contaminated with undeclared milk.

Recalled Cal Yee (or Cal Yee Farm branded) products were packaged in clear, plastic zippered pouches and came in 8-ounce, 1-pound, 2-pound and 5-pound sizes.
