Turf fixtures resume in EGCA this weekend

The first of six matches left in the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association’s A-grade qualifying series will be played on Saturday following a two-week break for country week.

Outright leadership goes on the line for Hannans and Great Boulder, each with five wins, when they are opposed to North Kalgoorlie and Lake View, respectively.

Hannans is on top by percentage, but they had a three-game winning sequence broken in the last round by Great Boulder — ahead of a return clash on February 15.

Great Boulder chase a fourth straight win this weekend.

North Kalgoorlie are third on percentage over Lake View — both teams with three wins.

Lake View won three of their opening four games, but have since lost four in a row.
