Terraria 1.4.5 update feels both tantalizingly close and impossibly distant. Developer Re-Logic has maintained its philosophy of only putting out updates when they're ready, and it's been a strategy that has long maintained Terraria's reputation as one of the best PC games. In a new Terraria State of the Game blog for the end of January 2025, head of business strategy Ted 'Loki' Murphy gives us our regularly scheduled update on how things are progressing. While there's no release date yet, we do get a glimpse of another potentially very powerful transformation, along with a cute but disturbing snack.
