approach the character and select the gift icon in the lower right-hand corner (X on Nintendo Switch). You can give up to three gifts per day, which resets daily with your timezone. However, if you manage to get a Friendship Blossom, you can gift an extra three presents that day by gifting the Blossom first. Friendship Blossoms are a legendary daily login reward, so make sure to claim them in the phone menu under Daily Rewards.
