Sandfall and Story Kitchen confirmed the adaptation to the publication, and Story Kitchen founders Dmitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg, along with Timothy I. Stevenson and Elena Sandoval will produce. No other details about the film such as casting or a release window were offered.
