No Man’s Sky’s Plan for 2025 Is What Todd Howard Needs to Save Starfield

It’s not wrong to say that Bethesda’s Starfield is one of the most controversial AAA titles we’ve seen in recent years. The game’s reception keeps swinging between love and hate and has made many in the community question Bethesda and Todd Howard’s ability to develop games.

Starfield isn’t a terrible title by any means, as Bethesda managed to elevate the game with post-launch updates. Unfortunately, it still lacks a soul, as many players believe, but Howard and his team can save the game and refresh it by copying Hello Games’ brand-new update with No Man’s Sky.

It’s been nine years since the release of No Man’s Sky, and some might think that Hello Games is done with the title and moving on to a new project. However, that’s not the case, as there’s a big new update here to shock everyone.

No Man’s Sky update 5.5 is now available for everyone to experience. It’s called Words Part 2 and is a follow-up to 2024’s Worlds Part 1, which completely shook up the planets across the galaxy in the game. Last year’s update brought new features, like floating islands and giant bugs, and expansions to existing ones.

Worlds Part 2 makes the title ******* and better than ever before, with new features, including new gas giants.

to Sean Murray, these are strictly designed for endgame players and are deadly even for the most experienced gamers out there.

Ten times ******* than our biggest planet. It’s truly end-game stuff to explore them with huge storms that rage across the surface.

That’s not all; there’s also a gargantuan living starship and quest that connects all storylines from the past nine years of incredible updates. Hello Games has included a number of improvements to already existing features in the game. Oceans are much deeper, all mountains are taller, and there’s an improved lighting system to improve the player immersion.

The latest updates bring billions of new solar systems that contain trillions of new planets packed with mysteries and are waiting for gamers to explore. It’s a true overhaul of the game and something you’ll never see from Bethesda and Todd Howard.

We can’t deny the fact that No Man’s Sky had a rocky launch, and that might’ve pushed you away from the game. However, there’s never been a better time to jump back into this title.

All of the recent updates and Hello Games’ dedication make No Man’s Sky more refreshing than ever before, with thousands of hours of content to dig into. There are nine years of content, and there’s no way you’re finishing that in a day!

Hello Games also has a brand-new project on the horizon called Light No Fire. Murray has confirmed with this brand-new DLC that the upcoming title will use the same engine as No Man’s Sky.

It’s incredible to see that Hello Games has made such a big comeback by grabbing every opportunity to make No Man’s Sky ******* and more immersive. Let’s hope the studio can carry this momentum with Light No Fire and bring some serious challenges to Howard.
