Osborne Park ******: Collision causes traffic chaos as car slams into traffic pole, blacking out lights

A ****** has caused chaos on a busy street in Perth’s northern suburbs, with two sets of traffic lights blacked out.

Two vehicles collided on Hutton Street westbound at the Mitchell Freeway overpass, with one car smashing into a traffic light about 12.50pm on Thursday.

Various lanes were forced closed as towing services helped remove the vehicles from the scene.

Motorists are urged to exercise “extreme caution” as traffic heavy in the area. Authorities are working to restore power to the blacked out traffic lights.
