Motorcyclist dies after ****** with multiple vehicles

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A motorcyclist is dead after a collision involving several vehicles in the southwest Las Vegas valley on Monday.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Monday when Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials responded to a report of a ****** near Blue Diamond Road and South Hualapai Way.

Police said a motorcycle going east on Blue Diamond Road struck the back of a vehicle also traveling east. The collision threw the motorcyclist from the bike, where he was struck by an oncoming SUV.

The motorcyclist, identified as Paul Buskirk, 34, of Las Vegas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries. The ****** remains under investigation by law enforcement officials.

The man’s death represents the 14th traffic-related fatality of 2025 in LVMPD jurisdiction.
