Why DeepSeek could bring ‘opportunities to monetize’ software

The arrival of ******** startup DeepSeek’s artificial intelligence (AI) model is shaking up the US tech sector, with a particular impact on software.

Brent Thill, senior analyst at Jefferies, joins Julie Hyman on Market Domination to discuss the recent development, suggesting it could be a positive shift.

“It’s really positive for software … effectively, as AI costs drop on infrastructure, it helps democratize and brings it to the software layer,” Thill explains.
