fans have wanted to return to the OG map ever since it was removed with the launch of Chapter 2. Over the past couple of years, Epic Games tried to find ways to let gamers scratch this itch. In early 2023, it allowed custom map creators to come up with their own version of Athena Island, also known as the Chapter 1 map. However, it wasn't as good as many would've hoped because many weren't exact replicas and the Battle Royale aspect of it didn't work all that well in Creative mode.
