No Rest for the Wicked’s Issues Disappoint Thousands on Launch Day

No Rest for the Wicked is off to a rough start with thousands of players complaining about the ongoing gameplay and technical issues that plague the title. While the developers, Moon Studios, have promised an immediate fix arriving in the future, players are left disinterested and disappointed.

It’s not surprising to see an early access game encounter a few bumps in the road, but some of the issues on launch day have made No Rest for the Wicked unplayable, upsetting the community.

The state of No Rest for the Wicked is rough, and while most won’t discredit how it’s still in early access, understandably—which is basically a testing phase to improve a game—it’s still somewhat disheartening to see all of these problems fester within the first day of launch when they should’ve been assessed and addressed before even being accessible. And it’s not like these issues are insignificant or minor either.

Thousands of players on Steam are frustrated over core gameplay issues such as combat, looting, exploration, and movement, and many more are peeved by the minor problems in between like the lack of stat re-specialization, the lack of key rebinding options and control choices, and the overall poor performance across most modern PC setups. Some players even state that

and needs more time in development. Here are some of the negative Steam reviews No Rest for the Wicked received.

Despite all the backlash and criticism, Moon Studios ******** focused on improving No Rest for the Wicked and has addressed all of its problems online. It even recently launched its first hotfix patch for the game, fixing a majority of the problems players have encountered over the last day or two. While some community members struggle to shake off doubt,

, knowing that these problems will be fixed eventually.

There’s no denying that Moon Studios has a lot of development to do before No Rest for the Wicked can be considered worth playing. What’s great, though, is that the developer is making active choices toward the betterment of its title, and players’ complaints are being heard and addressed one by one. Hopefully, by a few long weeks or maybe months, No Rest for the Wicked will be in a better spot.
