Toddler and man both dead after horror car ****** in Brisbane

A man and toddler have both died following a horror ****** in Brisbane’s east.

A blue Holden Commodore and a red Mitsubishi Lancer collided at the intersection of Rickertt Rd and Chelsea Rd in Ransome just before 9am on Sunday.

The 37-year-old Holden driver from Manly West died at the scene.

A four-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Holden, was rushed to the Queensland Childrens Hospital.

The toddler later died at the hospital.

The driver of the Mitsubishi suffered minor injuries in the ******.

The 29-year-old Birkdale man was the sole occupant of the Mitsubishi.

The Forensic ****** Unit launched an investigation, and anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
