If you’ve forgotten already, back in March 2024, EA’s CEO stated that the studio is preparing to take Apex Legends to a brand-new level.

This was supposed to be the new phase for the battle royale, suggesting new modes and revealing how the developers were working to make these changes.

The CEO promised gamers that they’ll see these changes throughout the entirety of 2024. Unfortunately, that never ended up happening, as those promised changes and features never made it to the game.

Gamers are frustrated with the path Apex Legends has taken with monetization, as they feel EA is just interested in making profits and not improving the condition of the title. Others were sad to see that such major changes were dropped and never even shared with the community.
