Man dead after brawl inside home in Craigieburn, Melbourne

A man has died following a brawl inside a home in Melbourne’s north.

The altercation broke out at a Thoresby Circuit home in Craigieburn at about 6.45pm on Saturday, according to police.

A man, who is yet to be identified, was found with a stab wound and rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He later died in hospital.

A 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital under police guard with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old woman was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the three people were all known to each other, and officers are not looking for any other person.

A crime scene has been established, with the area cordoned off.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam/CCTV footage has been urged to come forward.
