Analyst Adam Hotchkiss initiated a buy rating and $210 price target on shares, which indicates upside of 14.4% from Wednesday’s close. The company provides insurance software and technology, including core products PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, InsuranceSuite and InsuranceNow. Guidewire has won more than 60% of core system decision deals, according to Hotchkiss, who sees the company continuing to outperform as insurers begin to modernize. “Guidewire’s leadership in the [property and casualty] insurance end-market and continued cloud migration momentum support a durable long-term growth opportunity,” Hotchkiss wrote in a note. Hotchkiss expects the company to reach growth in the mid-to-high teens level and eventually hitting a $15 billion total addressable market level. More positive catalysts include increasing pace of cloud demand and adoption across the P & C insurance industry, as well as more win rates across the international insurance market, per Hotchkiss.
